Change your approach to change
Have you ever gone out of town for a few days and returned home to find your houseplants a little droopy and sad? ( Or if you are like me, you TOTALLY forgot to water them?)
All it takes is a little water…. and literally within minutes, they’re like brand new plants!
Releasing limiting beliefs
There is one side of us that craves change and there is this other side of us that freezes or is terrified when we want to start something or we start and we don’t finish OR we get really enthusiastic but we don’t actually ever start.
20 minutes of fresh air per day. Good for the body, mind and soul!
I am now ready to submit to the process that I have to go through to be released from my limiting beliefs
Quick! Can you name 5 things about yourself that you love?
Walking is so good for you; mind, body, and spirit! It’s a great way to boost your mood...
Let your true inner voice be heard
Did you just suddenly become very uncomfortable? If so, you’re not alone. We’re going to turn that around this week.
This Valentine week, let's focus on a little self-love and boosting our self-esteem.
Goodbye 2017 & HELLO 2018!
`’Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Anyone else’s mom on Facebook?
Well I found out this morning that my mom must be!
Today, September 1st is/would have been my mom’s 88th birthday. Sadly, cancer took her away from us in 1980. So, how can she be on Facebook?
Neck kinks - Mobility tune-up tip
I had a chance to have a really special conversation with a relative that I just met last year. I thought that my eldest cousin was the leader of our clan. I was wrong! My father’s cousin Allyson Leduc, who will turn 100 this fall, is our actual ‘’elder’’.
Have you ever had a kink in the neck that makes even the simplest task become an ‘’pain in the neck’’?
Here are 2 of my favorite 1st aid things that you can do to shake that annoying pain.
Minimize Snow shoveling aches
Now THERE is a topic to bring up!
Anyone else other than me struggling with giving into cravings or bad habits?
Hopefully you chose this year to invest in having a snow removal company do the majority of the work for you. My husband and I chose a very good year to pass on the responsibility to someone who makes a living doing such a thing so that we can live with less exhaustion and possible injuries.
Gut health, why is it so important?
In light of the next Body and Nutrition Tune-Up Workshop being focused on how to tame chronic inflammation through proper nutrition and exercise/body care I thought I would share some information on the topic of how to deal with acute inflammation.
Practice what you preach
Irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, GERD, candida, chronic constipation, gas, bloating. With so many individuals suffering on a daily basis from digestive system issues, it is no wonder that gut health has become such a hot topic.
Epsom salts and magnesium
Do as I say…and do!
I once had someone ask me point blank if I actually practiced what I preach. I am certainly not perfect but I generally incorporate all the healthy tips that I endorse or preach.
Detaching yourself from the reactions of others
At the end of every one-to-one training session or mobility and Yoga Tune up® class that I teach, I remind my clients and participants to hydrate well and take an Epsom salt bath. I do this out of habit and one day I heard that little voice in my head say: “I don’t think anyone is actually following through with this incredibly wise recommendation of yours” Actually, the voice was really telling me:
Don't hesitate, do what you love
Far too often we worry about what people will think of us or what we do. I am no different than anyone else. I would love it if everyone liked me; what I say, what I do, how I look, how I do things etc.
Reality is that not everyone will!
You know that you got through to your adult child when she uses YOUR words of encouragement on YOU!
